I was the only kid in our town that had one of these so every kid wanted to play in my yard, it was like an amusement ride - I might have been spoiled. Oh yeah I remember one boy got so dizzy it made him puke!

I've been trying to find a picture of this toy for years.. I describe it to my friends and they don't know what I'm talking about.. it was yellow and orange.. and had huge wheels that you would spin with your hands right?

The Whirl Wind isn't what Peter is asking about. I remember that toy and have been trying to find one. This toy had no pedals or bars. It was round and had a sit that you sat low to the ground in, there was a large wheel on each side that had handles you used to spin the wheels which made you go. I would LOVE to remember the name and see a picture.

Anyone know where to get a whirl wind now? I had one as a child and so did my husband. We'd love to get one for our son.

The toy that Peter and JT are talking about is called the Krazy Kar. It's listed on this site and BackToBasicsToys dot com apparently makes a version of it now. I had one back in the day and it was fantastic.
