banana seat bikes had those wider tires on the back and tall silver sissy bars attached to the back seat so your rider could sit back and not fall off

Purple bike with sparkly bits in the paint, banana seat, sissy bar, streamers from the handlebars... ah, circa 1972-77. One could also tie a rope to the sissy bar and pull one's brother behind on skates, wagon, or just drag him along, willing or not. Loads of fun.
