That was a very cool doll. Many many records many different languages. All singing the same song. When I was a teenager I sold the doll at a friend's garage sale. Teenagers! My Mom knew I was selling Mimi, tried to talk me out of it. To this day she is annoyed I sold that doll. I can't blame her, now I wished I hadn't sold her. This was a special doll!

Wow! I'm not sure what made me think of my Mimi doll...I had totally forgot about her. At the time I had the doll, my parents couldn't afford to buy clothes for her. My mother hand made all of her clothes. I am very sorry to say I never kept the clothes :(

I couldn't remember her name, but I received this doll for Christmas, around 1974 or 1975. Somewhere there is a photo of me on Christmas morning holding her and listening to her sing. A great memory.
