I STILL HAVE MINE. I GOT HER WHEN WE LIVED IN KOREA WHEN I WAS ABOUT 3 OR 4 YEARS OLD. I HAD NAMED HER "FAT BABY". SHE IS AND ALWAYS WILL BE MY FAVORITE DOLL.

I have been looking for another Beth doll as mine was ruined by my babysitter. She thought it was a good idea to put her in the washing machine! Anyone know where I can find another?

I still have mine however she is missing all clothes and she looks pretty rough. My sister had one as well and in was always like new. She didn't play with dolls like I did. My mother actually called me today and said one of the grandkids had cut beths hair. I thought my mother was going to cry. These were the first baby dolls we'd every gotton. I've searched ebay and havn't seen one on there. good luck

I got a Baby Beth doll for Christmas from my mom in 1977, before my parents divorced...it was my favorite baby...I thought she would be alive one day because of the love I gave her...then one fateful day I left her at my mom's home and her cruel landlady, Sandy, gave all her (and my) belongings away to a charity. I thought I'd die! Well, six years later I went to a flea market 400 miles away and found her...with the same markings of grape jelly, red nailpolish and cut hair...thank you God...for working in mysterious ways! REAL STORY...and I still have her on my bed. I'm 39 years old now but i don't have a daughter to hand her down to. So she is the little girl I never had. And the most precious baby doll, in my opinion, ever made.

I had this doll and she went everywhere with me. She was my favorite of all times. I wish I had her now. I wore her out. Trust me, no one would have loved her but me.

Its so funny to read how many people still have their baby beth doll. I still have mine. I'm 33. For as long as I can remember her hair has stuck straight up on end and her clothes are long gone. I love my baby beth doll. She is totally special to me like no other toy I ever had.

I am now 30, and still have My Baby Beth doll. I called her Kathy. She has all her original clothes, but years of manicures and makeovers have made her worn. Her hair has always stuck out, like a little blond afro on her. I will never give her up!

I still have my Baby Beth. My uncle gave her to me for Christmas. He died when I was 6 so the doll is really special to me. Last week I cleaned her body and her shirt with OxyClean. She looks almost new. You can barely tell I had gotten lipstick on her shirt at one time.

My family immigrated from Mexico in 1983 and couldn't afford much when we arrived in the U.S. My mother actually found My Baby Beth in a dumpster in an alley, after dropping me off at school. She washed and cleaned her, and gave her to me. I remember she used to take me to the thrift stores often and I'd buy used baby clothes for her with quarters and dimes. Despite the fact that I had many NEW dolls after Beth, she remained my favorite. I still have her today at the age of 30 and will never part with her...because I love her, and because she reminds me of my humble, yet very happy childhood.

OMG! I'm 37 and still have my Baby Beth doll, she is the BEST baby doll EVER! She survived a trip through the washing machine. When my daughter was born 10 years ago, I found her a Baby Beth for her very own in an antique store. Baby Beth is great, she doesn't eat, drink, cry, or poop, she just looks at you! Which is fine by me, I will NEVER part with her, over 32 years later. They need to reproduce her.

I am 36 and I still have mine. My daughter (who just turned 2) saw her in my closet and now takes her everywhere. Beth's hair is a mess and her body is a little misshapen, her original clothes are long gone and half of her fingernails are "painted", but my daughter and I love her still. She is beautiful to us. :)

I remember when I got Baby Beth for Christmas when I was about 2 yrs old. She came with a pattern and my mom made her little jammies and a dress. I took her with me everywhere. Her original clothes are long gone, but she has a little ruffled baby's dress and stays in a special spot on my dresser. And, no, I haven't grown out of her yet! =)

My Baby Beth was my daughter's first & only doll (she didn't play with dolls). She loved her until her legs fell off and "painted" earrings in her ears. My daughter is 32 and has a two-yr old daughter who I'd like to buy a Beth doll for. Impossible to find. The old one is too bedraggled and in a special "keep" box. My daughter and I loved that doll!

I still have my Beth doll too, hidden up high where no one can break her! I loved that baby doll more than anything else in the whole world when I was 6 years old. I ruined my sister's by giving her a bath and then hiding her in the freezer(her head split). I'm lucky she didn't do the same to mine. I also painted their nails with lipstick and gave them haircuts. I loved them to pieces! I also wish I could find one for my 9yr old. Let the search begin!

I also still have my Baby Beth doll! She is in pretty rough shape. My grandma had to sew her many times! I called her Bethy and took her everywhere with me. I used to suck my thumb and twirl her hair. She looks like Don King with her hair sticking straight up in the air! lol

Good Gravy!! I thought I was the only sap on earth that still has her Baby Beth...I also have my Baby Ann and My Friend Jenny. I gave them all to my daughter when she was about 2, after a short time in her room I was horrified to find them on the floor. Baby Beth, Baby Ann, and Jenny never lived on the floor when I was little. Needless to say I took them back until she could properly care for them as they deserve... She's now 7 and I'm still not sure she is ready for them...maybe it's me that's not ready to give them up...But hey, nowhere is it written that a mother must give her dollies to her daughter...is there?

When I was 36 and pregnant, my husband made me throw out my baby beth because he said we have to make room for a real baby. Well I have missed her ever since. I was so happy that I had a girl because of course I named her Elizabeth. Now I have my very own Baby Beth. I am so happy that I found other people who loved her just as much. Does anyone know where I could buy a Baby Beth?

I am so surprised to find so many ladies like myself who preserved my baby Beth for all these years. Mine is in mint condition with all her clothes. I remember when I was a kid I was cleaning her with some nail polish remover and accidentally wiped a little eye color off. I freaked out! Then thought to use a blue perm. marker to fix it. Whew! I've had her in my cedar chest for 20 years and get her out every once in a while to show her off. I never thought to give her to my kids cuz she's MINE. :)

I don't have my Baby Beth Doll anymore. My mom & dad got her for me when I was 7yr old. I was in the hospital and away from all the other kids. I was very contages, I even got 3 nurses sick. I was wanting Baby Beth Doll after I saw my friends. My parents did a mean trick on me, they brought a bag bag with them into the hospital one night & told me it was a gift for my older brother. I asked to see it (which they knew I would) but when I opened it I saw the most Beautiful Baby Beth Doll looking back at me. I cried & kissed her all night long. The next day ALL the nurses kept coming in my room to see my Baby Beth Doll. I'm now 38 and I have my very (live) Baby Beth Doll. Her name is Bethanie & she is 16 yrs old. So you can see even though I don't have my doll anymore, I never forgot her. She will always have a specail place in my heart.

I also still have my "My Baby Beth" doll. I got her for Christmas of 1979, and she grew to be my favorite baby doll. I kept very few of my childhood toys, but "Beth" will always be one of my treasures. She still has all her orignial pink clothing. It's fun to see other "Beth" fans out there--BTW, I'm now 41.

I LOVE my Baby Beth. My original doll was thrown out because of a flooded basement where she was kept. I still have not forgiven my mother (that was 18 yrs ago). A friend got me one about 15 years ago on EBay. Best present ever, bar none. My kids aren't allowed to play with her, she's mine! Mommy's doll, back off! :)

My parents got Baby Beth for me in Andrews, Texas. I have had her since 1977 (this matches the back of her head, see serial number, year, and company name). I cut her hair a little bit when I was a kid, so her hair is not exactly "trimmed," but she is soooooooo beautiful and sweet. My family and I love Baby Beth!

I was reminiscing with my 19 year old daughter a few days ago and told her how special Baby Beth was to me. My brother broke the rod that connected her head, I was devastated! My dear sweet daughter looked her up online and found a website where I was able to purchase one in mint condition! Now I can share her with both of my daughters, 19 and 4 years old! BTW, I am 40!

I also got Baby Beth for Christmas (probably 1977 or 78). In a few pictures of that Christmas I am holding her and it looks like I am holding a real baby. I loved Beth for many years. My grandma made her a flannel bunting with a B on it. My Beth was very spoiled with a little suitcase full of real baby clothes that I dressed her in. She now lives in a tub in my basement with Strawberry Shortcake and friends.

I still have my Baby Beth! I'm 32, and proud to say she still looks pretty good! I was born in 1980, and my grandparents bought her for me upon my arrival into the world. I've always had her, and I'll keep her forever. Who knew she was such a popular doll? I didn't realize how many other Baby Beth fans were out there... I was born in 1977 and got my baby beth for christmas, I was only 2 months old. She has been on many moves with me and will always be here. My dog got ahold of her a couple of years ago and made short work of her, I cried for 2 days as I painfully sewed all her foam back in place and stitched her up good as new. The other day I walked into a thrift store and sitting there on the shelf was another Baby Beth, she came home with me, since I have 2 daughters of my own I would really like to find another. It is hard to think about not having her after all we have been through. She is by far the greatest doll they have ever made.

I got my Baby Beth in 1977 for my birthday. I carried her around wherever I went. I slept with her and thought that she was "my baby" lol. She is missing an arm and a leg and her hair is completely tattered but she is still on my bed. I'm 40 yrs old and can't get rid of her. I actually got mad at my mum for buying my other dolls, growing up, because I thought she was trying to replace her! LOL.

I got baby Beth for Christmas 77' I believe at about 5 months old. My stepfather threw her away when I was 15. Broke my heart. I've been looking for her ever since. I always thought I named her my baby Beth! Lol. Now I know. I actually put my oldest daughter in her sweater as a newborn thinking the sweater was mine. Beth was always my favorite and I used to tell her that every time a new doll showed up. Seems silly that at 35 I'm looking for a doll! Anyone have one for sale?

Santa brought me my Baby Beth doll for Christmas of '78 when I was 2 years old. I was instantly in love with her! I took her everywhere with me and she quickly became very dirty and tattered. When I was about 5 years old my older brother decided to cut off chunks of her beautiful blonde hair and draw circles around her eyes and ears with a blue ink pen. I was furious with him and realized she was changed forever. I quickly got over my anger and joined in. I drew blue earrings on her and some longer eyelashes. I figured if she was going to be marked up she may as well be stylish. Lol A couple of years later I decided that she needed new clothes. I cut the bottom of a pair of my jeans off and made her two stylish jean skirts. If I had to grow older, so did she! I used to wish and pray that my Baby Beth doll would come alive and be a real baby for me to play with. Afterwards I would check in my room to see if my wishes and prayers came true. I would always be disappointed to see her still in her doll form. I received a few more dolls after Baby Beth, but she still remains my favorite one. I still have her in my closet with her blue jean skirt and matching earrings. :)

We have searched the internet and antique shops for a new Baby Beth for our daughter for a long time. Our 33 yr old daughter has a terrible disease that has her bedfast now, and she misses her doll so much. We would love to find one New in Box because she has so many allergies now that actually cause her to stop breathing and her throat swells shut. It is so hard to find things to give a person in this condition now. You really just want to make them as happy as you can. Other than prayer, what else can you do? If anyone knows where I can find a super clean, no fragrances or New in box Baby Beth doll. Preferably the one that has the #209 tag on it. I would be so completely grateful to you. I have been so sad since my daughter became ill. I do all I can for her 3 boys, and we of course butt heads from time to time, but I truly wish to see her light up with happiness over something, and it takes certain things to accomplish that. I think this might just do that. Thanks for your help. You can email me at pegysu59@gmail.com if you have any ideas of where I can find one.

I am 40 and I have my Baby Beth Doll. I have passed her down to my youngest daughter. She (baby beth)still has the same smell as I remember loving as a kid. I don't know if she had been scented or if its just the doll. But it's good. Lol. She has some wear and marks, and of course no orig hat, sweater, or booties. I wish I could find an orig clothing set for her. I am tempted to buy another from someplace to have a spare, but it wouldn't have the special memories.

I am 36 years old and I still have my baby Beth doll, too! I loved her when I was little, but her clothes got lost somewhere along the line, so when I got older my mom made her some new clothes and I had her sitting in my house all this time, nobody touching her. Today is my daughter's 7th birthday and she got baby doll stuff so I wanted to show her my favorite baby when I was her age and when I picked her up I could tell something was wrong and when I took her bottoms off her leg fell off. I pray that I can fix it. Other than the leg, she is in almost perfect condition. She was the absolute best baby doll ever!! I really wish that they would come out with her again so that I could get my little girl her very own Baby Beth!

I’m 40 and my mom gave me My Baby Beth when I was round 3 years old. This year I gave her to Santa to “give” to my daughter. Santa left a note saying that he gave Baby Beth to me when I was little and that I asked him to give her to my daughter. We give our old toys to Santa to fix for other kids and we donate some. Her hair was sticking up the wrong way so I rinsed it in really hot water and combed it in the right direction and the gently blew it dry. Now her hair looks like new again. LOVED my Baby Beth and I’m so happy my daughter is loving her too. She has two dolls and when we play babies, I always pick Baby Beth again!!

I got My Baby Beth from my favourite Auntie when I was 2 years old. My parents unearthed it from their basement and now my 5 year old plays with her. She has lost all her clothes and looks a bit rough around the edges but not bad for a 40+ year old doll.
