Mego's World's Greatest Super Heroes were 8" figures that almost defined action figures in the 70's. The generic body allowed the comapny to pop on different heads and outfit each in its own, cloth uniform. Mego benefitted from having the license to both Marvel and DC during an era when superheroes were incredibly popular. So popular in fact, Mego spread out into other lines including Star Trek and Planet of the Apes. If you were a boy in the 70's, you probably had a Mego.
