Description
A Hot Wheels accessory set, it was an oval track with a high banked corner. The players sat at a console on the other corner and accelerated their cars by pushing down on a shift lever. The shift lever actuated a wand that, if your timing was just right, would give the car a push from behind. Another accessory set was a drag race. A set of tracks, a clamp for attaching the top to a table or shelf, a push-button starter and a checkered-flag finish line. The checkered flag would fall onto the side of the car that went through first.

Target's new Race Aces Speed Shift Raceway can be modified to act like the Thundershift 500. See the reviews for Race Aces Speed Shift Raceway at target's on-line store for details.

can you bring back the thunder shift 500, it is the best, the race aces is too slow and too easy, and too small. The 500 hundred is lightning in a bottle. they will sell like hotcakes!!!!!
