Description
I bought a paul Stanley kiss doll and the legs are rubber and so are the arms (not plastic). Did they make them like this. Also the chest and pelvis are mego 1976 and the head is 1978. Did I get screwed over or could this be a legitimate doll. Thanks I appreciate any information.

Hi... I'm thinking you have one of the first editions... the rarer "skinny" body. The first run of these dolls were made with skinny, rubbery bodies until Gene Simmons wanted more muscular bodies made. These skinny bodies were likely used for other doll series before the KISS one came out. Paul's head was also used for "Captain" from Captain and Tenille. Done worry. You have an original! Probably more valuable than the muscular counterparts. E-mail me at jokur@bytehead.com if you get this with any more questions! Kurt
