Description
Made by the Sunshine Baking Company (they still produce a saltine cracker, vanilla wafer cookies, Hydrox & numerous other items). These were oblong wafer crisp like with a light ribbon of caramel throughout. It also included coconut & chocolate . The closest thing you can get nowadays is the Samoa Cookies from Girl Scout Cookies.

I WISH they were still available. I have fond memories of camping in Tuolomne Meadows, Yosemite and we always had these cookies. They were my favorite. I contacted Keebler a few years ago and they said they had no plans to make the product, it didn't fit they're target market or something. Perhaps if we all contact Keebler, they'll realize there is a market out here for Yum Yums and either start making them or sell the rights to someone that will!

Yum Yums were my favourite cookies growing up. I've been trying to find them for years without success, it's nice to know someone else misses them too!

I loved these cookies! My grandmother used to bring them from California after she visited family there. (We live in Mississippi) I always looked forward to this special treat. When I first tasted Samoas, I thought they were similar, but just not the same....Yum Yums were better!

My grandmother bought these for me occasionally. I _loved_ them. They were my very favorite. She got them at the Winn Dixie in Dublin, GA.

I have been searching online for years to find information about YumYums. Thank you so much. Yes, the Samoas are the closest thing to them. Though not exactly the same, eating the Samoas bring back so many good childhood memories.

I am so shocked to see how many people are also like me searching for yum yums, they were so good and like so many of you I now also buy the girl scout samoas for my husband, but would love to have the original Yum Yums back...Wonder why they discontinued them?

Nehi grape and Yum Yums were my favorite snack growing up. I too buy Samoas to quench my desire for Yum Yums. Not the Same. Does anyone know of a decent recipe?

I have also been searching online for Yum Yums! I'm glad I'm not the only person who misses them! Anyone have a recipe that is similar?

Yes I been looking and missing yum yums for years. You would think someone would by the rights to make them if Keebler feel it not a fit for is line.

Was just reminiscing about these cookies with my mom...haven't had one in about 30 years or more. Samoans are good, but there is something missing. They sure beat any of the stuff Keebler has out now!!

I can't believe it!! No one I have asked knows what I am talking about! I'm glad to find out I'm not the only one missing this cookie! I too have taken on the Samoa as a close substitute.
