Description
My bedroom wall was pasted wall to wall with these stickers...they were so cool. I had Cheapios, My Sink Perfume, Uncle Ben's Convicted Rice, Crust Toothpaste, Reynold's Aluminum Fool, Liptorn Soup, Hungry Jerk, Freetoes (ew!), Neveready Battery, Cover Ghoul, and Lavirus Mouthwash (though I couldn't understand what it meant when I was 8 or 9...la virus)

I began collecting Wacky PAckages around 1973, right before the second series came out. I was lucky enough to get some first series cards, as well. As a kid, though, I had no idea what some of the products being parodied were until I grew up. Like you, I did not get the Lavirus one, or the Mutt's Apple Juice, Boo Hoo or Mighty-Fink or Fink (evidently a parody of a grapefruit drink called Wink). A lot of these were off the market long before I grew up and began caring one way or the other. But, they are preserved forever in the collections of Wacky Package freaks around the globe (both of us).

Loved Wacky Packages! We used to stick them on our bikes & bedroom wall. I even have a (current) Wacky Packages calendar!

I remember these..Me, my two brothers, and my sister used to buy them at the family's favorite butcher shop (Bozo's) in my mom's home town. I can still remember the one for "Right Guard" spray: "Killette(tm) 'Fright Guard' Deodorant..The deodorant that will scare off your Enemies..And Friends." ..It was so - so funny! LOL
