6 sausage rolls stuck to a grease proof paper, rolled them out ready for the oven. what were they called or who made them, and its not pilsbury dough

I remember these. They were made by a company called Smedley (who also made tinned peas). Yum.

I remember when i was a kid my ma gettin a xmas hamper and to my delite it contained a tin of smedley beauties. UNrolling them was a dream come true and the taste was truly wonderful, Over the years i have often thought about these and wondered if there was a similar item on the market. . . sadly not. BRING BACK SMEDLEYS> > > BAD BOYS!!!

I remember tinned sausage rolls as something we always had in the cupboard at the caravan. When i talk about them people think that i'm making it up! They have brought back bacon grill another tinned product of the 70s so I think sausage rolls should be next!

amazing,i was just thinking about smedleys tin of sausage rolls,told the family who were eating at the time,again no one belived me,so here we are.proof i thank you all!! oh the only thing i can think of like them are fraybentos pies.

i thought they were delicious and wish they would bring them back.my nanna used to make them for our sunday tea followed by angel delight or birds trifle.
