Description
This was a candy bar that was filled with a peanut butter filling that was kind of soft and chewy. It also had crushed peanuts in it. The coating was milk chocolate and it tasted awesome! I used to eat these every week. I have often had a craving for one, but unfortunately they are no long made to my knowledge.

Apparently they are still made and sold only in canada and germany they go by the name wunderbar...made by cadbury. These were the best candybars and people think I'm a nutcase when I talk about them.

I think I remember the song sung in the commercial, going something like: "You have the makings of a starrrrrr bar, star bar!"

Starbar! I judge every similar bar against it even though it was at least 40 years since they've been here. There was just something about the texture....

Found a few Starbar wrapper images. One, made in Birmingham, England by Cadbury (1977). Second, a US version by Peter Paul-Cadbury (1981), and a third one from the 1990s by Cadbury (UK).
