Description
A square version of a Wagon Wheel. Square-shaped cookie with jam and topped with marshmallow and chocolate coating. Mom always put them in our lunch bag!

I have been trying to tell my friends about square boys, and nobody has heard of them!! I used to get them in my lunch as well! Along with my favourite Pop Shoppe drink- Cream Soda and Rootbeer!!! Square boys were the best and I miss them, who made them? Bring back the SQUARE BOY!!!
Yup, I'm the same! I seem to be the only one to remember Square Boys. They were so good!!

I remember these, too! But no one else I know seems to!! There were 2 varieties-one had plain chocolate coating and the other had peanuts in the chocolate coating.

My brother-in-law and I thought we were the only two who remembered Square Boys as none of our family or friends do! I can still see the red box and the blue box. I especially liked the peanut ones. Bring back Square Boys!!!!!
Square Boys rocked. They also had a special one for Xmas or Easter that was covered in cheap white chocolate and peanuts...which of course was the best thing in the world. Any company with a brain should start making these treats again. It's be a good business move.
Plus we could all eat them until we barf. :)

Man o man, I was thinking of these today when I saw some wagon wheels. Must agree with Ricky, I totally loved the ones with the nuts. They crush wagon wheels. Bring em back.....

Yep, I remember Square Boys too....and I also would like to see them back. Wagon Wheels are okay for a 'vintage' snack, but I'd like to intro my children to Square Boys!
Nobody in my family remembers the Square Boys! I LOVED them as a kid. The ones with the peanuts were the best! Bring back Square Boys and I miss the Cadbury Snack chocolate bar too. Why do they take away the best things?

I ate Square Boys in my lunch for years! LOVED 'EM!
I've been searching for them for 20 years and have yet to find any at all.
I miss the square boys, cuban lunches and neilson treasures chocolate bars.
Also the milk, nut, loaf chocolate bars were awesome too.

I went to the grocery store looking for square boys I especially loved the peanut ones everyone looks at you weirdly and offers you wagon wheelsN

any body remember that with the peanut coated square boys you could peel the chocolate peanut coating off in one fell swoop if you did it carefully? lol oh the memories they were so yummy.

I use to put them in my kid's lunch as they were not crazy about Wagon Wheels, but the boys don't remember them either.

I came here looking for pictures of Square Boys to show my hubby. I remember them well because me and my sis got in trouble for eating a whole box of them while mom was napping. They were so good!!! Ten times better than wagon wheels. But I can’t find a photo of them anywhere.
I've been searching the internet for a picture of square boys and square girls. I may not be remembering correctly but didn't one have nuts and one didn't...could this be where square boy and girl got their name?

I’m glad that there are others out there that remember the square boys snack also! I miss them they were so good better than the wagon wheel, I decided that I am going to try to make a mock up square boy with homemade marshmallows this weekend!
