Description
Rice fries: Thay came frozen in a bag, but instead of potatoes they were made of rice. available in mid to late 70's. One of a kind flavor. Very tasty.

I used to LOVE LOVE LOVE Rice Fries!!! I'm surprised that it hasn't come back, they were probably healthier than regular fries. I've looked everywhere online and haven't found any...but I'll keep hoping!
Uncle Ben's made them. Great taste. They lasted one, maybe two years tops, then poof! Gone from the freezer cases.
My sister & I LOVED these. I seem to remember three flavors. I'm thinking one was cheddar and another was butter & herb but I'm not sure of the third one.
They sell these at the A&W's in Japan and Okinawa. Loved these. They used to think I was crazy when I went in and ordered 3 or 4 large fries and 2 large root beers. Wish they would bring them back here in the states.
I loved Rice Fries, brings back memories.
I believe they were Orieda and I have looked for them for years!!! They were great!!!! I can see them but have yet to find them!!!
I thought I was the only one that missed them swo much. I keep hoping they will come back .... maybe even as a health food
