Punch candy was my favorite candy as a kid in the 70's, I have been trying to find it for years. I think it was made in Argentina and I also thought it used to say foreign candy company on the label. I have never been able to find it though.

My first encounter with punch was back in 1988, Atlanta, GA. I went with a co-worker to a candy store (wholesaler/distributor?) I purchased a case/box of this highly addictive candy and demolished it within a week. I thought I was the only one who still remembered this delicious candy! Has it been discontinued?

I am not sure if my last comment took. Anyhow, Punch candy was the best. I am always looking for it. I would love to find it again. They were my favorite candies growing up. Last time I bought them was around 1983. I hope to find them someday.

I can't believe people remember this! I loved this stuff and ate it by the pound. I remember it came in 2 different sizes and both were squares. It had a very colorful wrapper. I remember it had a sharp inset in the middle (not a flat wafer on the side). I periodically look for this. I can't believe other people want it too! I knew I wasn't crazy! Tell me how to find it, please? The last time I had it was about 1975. I watched the third Saturday Night Live (Richard Pryor hosted) at a spend the night, eating Punch candy. Send me a source if possible: IAM1800Bugs@hotmail.com

I remember this candy from the 70's, it was my favorite, and I have been looking for it as well. I do remember it as named: Punch and it was wrapped in a yellow wrapper - long and narrow with the candy stacked against one another. Square in shape, with ridges on both sides of the candy. Sort of like looking into a box on each side. Anyone finds such, let me know: dabeancounter@hotmail.com Thanks Christine

**** NEWS FLASH **** Punch Candy from the 70's **** Ok, so i had to do a little more research. I tried Googling: Foreign Candy, Argentina Candy, Punches Candy, Nostalic Punch Candy and then the word of all destruction: "DISCONTINUED CANDY". I hate to be he bearer of bad news (I probably won't sleep well tonight) but this website is just one example of a list of discontinued candy: http://www.thecandycompany.com/discontinued_items.shtml I hate to tell everyone this, and I wish it wasn't true, but our favorite all time candy "Punch Candy" is DISCONTINUED. :*( sorry for the bad news. I guess we can all stop looking now....boo-hoo-hoo :*( Christine

Christine...you broke my heart! I LOVED PUNCH candy ever since I was a kid. The wrapper was even cool. with its bright yellow and multi colored polka dots all over...and each end was white. I went back and forth between PUNCH and PEZ...and PUNCH won...but I guess PEZ really won. How sad! If anyone ever finds a wrapper or old sleeve of PUNCH...let me know...I'd love to have it to at least show my kids that GREATEST candy there ever was! : (

Wow. i was just elling my son about Punch. The bright yellow wrapper with the polka dots. It was square. I used to stop at the Brentwood deli in Harrison NY on my way to little league practice. One punch in each sock would get me through practice. Yup. It was my favorite too. I am very surprised no company picked it up for free and continued Damn. Just likegood popcorn with real butter at the movies. DOA.

Oh how I loved running through our local farmers market to the penny candy stand to blow all my hard earned money on this delicious treat!!! Arg!!!!! Why don't they bring it back, it just not fair. We should all pitch in and by the rights to manufacture it and commision a candy company to make it for us. I really did love it and there really is nothing like it.

This is the first place I've seen Punch candy mentioned; nobody seems to remember it but me! Thanks, everyone, for the little memories and for confirming that this candy is real...at least it was 30 years ago! When my family emigrated to Melbourne Australia from New York I had to leave all my favorites behind (I still dream about finding Wise onion and garlic in the shops here in Ireland now) but when we moved to Oz, Punch candy was like all I could find to remind me of home and I couldn't get enough of them and was buying them by the case at our local shop but then they disappeared around 1987 and never saw them again. Something recently triggered a memory of mine when i was a child, and it made me think of PUNCH candy!!! Crazy! My sister and I would get this wonderful candy at Farells Parlour in mi. The orangish, yellowish wrapper with polka dots. I'm 45 now, and I can still remember how it tasted- slightly tangy, very fruity, speckeled in color, square shaped..man!! That was the best candy ever if I can still think about it after all these years!! I'm a candy junkie. Ordered Space Food a couple years ago from online candy store.Anyone remember that?? Chewy chocolate, brownie like, slim jim shaped, foil wrapped. Unfortunately wasn't the same great flavor I remember as a kid:(. I'm currently looking for Adams gum in the very berry flavor. Yummy..the best. Wrote the adams gum company and asked if they would bring it back. The response I got from them was to continue requesting. The fact that a lot of old time candies that were once discontinued make a comeback, keeps me hopeful that one day PUNCH will be on the shelves again. Now, if we all write to the manufacturer in Argentina about 1,000 emails or letters each month, sooner or later they might catch on!! It's a start..

Hysterical that we all jones for PUNCH! My second favorite were TABS which were cheap PEZ-style candies that actually fit in their dispenser! Try that in today's sue-happy world. I'd love to find a source for either one.

Punch candy my favor. At this point I will settle for a picture of it. I explain punch candy to people born in 60, 70 and 80 and everybody thinks I am nuts. The Punch I remember waswrapped in a yellow wrapper - long and narrow with the candy stacked in squares. If you find a picture please email me: sillywebb@aol.com

For several years now I've been trying to find someone who did not look at me funny when I touched upon this topic. I too searched online but reached the point of wondering if maybe it was all in my imagination. I searched again today and WHOA!!!!! I have found my punch family -- at last. They did exist. Sob.

After more than 15 yrs searching I only found a small damaged packet with Mouldy Punch Dust in it and had it sent from Argentina. I have recently managed to order a few boxes of Punch shaped candy made in Argentina that comes in small and large packets. I will be adding a Punch Repro wrapper to it and I believe it is the closest I will ever to get to the Original Punch. I am still waiting on delivery but if all goes well I will post some more info on here about The Punch Replication.

My ALL TIME FAV!! I literally havent stopped thinking about this candy since i could not get it anymore in the late 70 and early 80. I have search webwide and no luck! Maybe its time to start it up again. I have been lookong for info on who made it produced it and distributed it. Anyone with any info email me at mmmoich@gmail.com. It almost tasted like PEZ but only better!! Square shaped with raised edges, concaved centers. Like spring blooming in your mouth. I dream of it!. Im not a sweet tooth for chocolates and cakes but this candy was all my like in 1975! Ot was the onky candy i would buy when given the privledge of having a quarter to spend and bought ALL PUNCH!!

I found Punch listed here: http://www.casaconde.com.ar/productos.php?pagina=3&id=27 I do not see an order button. I have seen other pictures of Punch with the candy taken out. The picture I sawed showed that each candy had one color of its own, NOT all mixed together like the Punch I remember. I do not know if the above company has the solid colors, or the mixed. I wish I could get my hands on some. I would share! This has been the only location for news/comments about Punch for years, but there are recently a few pictures of wrappers on Pintrest. This is the search for the wrapper picture: https://www.google.com/search?q=pastillas+punch&client=firefox-b-1-ab&tbm=isch&source=iu&ictx=1&fir=z2wdIB130HkeQM%253A%252Cpu8pBMLB50irYM%252C_&usg=__-pXJT7sZ5h57AS6Y94hX2hEPeho%3D&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwjWzOr6upLaAhUFq1MKHcAJAUcQ9QEILTAB#imgdii=Ks6toznwoeIefM:&imgrc=4JVEiqVlil6KJM: Sorry about the giant link. Good luck everyone! I am going to see if I can find a way to get a box.

My brother and I have been looking for Punch and Name Droppers for years. Never any luck. I found some pictures online that bring back memories, and occasionally the 'hockey puck' things they put in men's urinals also strangely smell like Punch. I had a bitter/sweet run-in with Punch about 7 years ago. In a random gas station I found ONE PACK in their candy jar for 10 cents. Of course I got it and shared with my brother. Little did I know that no, they had not come back, rather I probably found a pack that had been sitting lost in storage somewhere for decades. They tasted just like we remembered and it was a great random encounter.

Punch was the best. Somewhere in my memory boxes, I have an old Punch wrapper...yeah, it has a special place in my heart. I never saved any other candy wrappers.

Loved this Punch candy! Bought it at local Ben Franklin in the 70's. Last time I saw it, I found in 1987 at a store in the Bahamas. If anyone does have a wrapper please share info on manufacturer or distributor. Also looking for "Fizzers" same size, shape, wrapper as Smarties, but fizzed in your mouth! JudiBlazek@yahoo.com

Back in about '72 or so, I lived in Key West and found Punch at a little Cuban grocery store on my way to school. I would bicycle to school each morning, stopping there to get a bag full at a nickel a pack. I would then sell them to my friends at school for a quarter each! I financed my own habit, and a few others with that little "enterprise." Sure would love to be able to buy Punch again, even at 61 years old! What a perfect target for a crowdfunding operation!

I have reached out to Leaf Candies about a possible crowd-funded return to manufacture. Will advise.

Sad news for anyone who remembers this candy. There will not be a revival for Punch. I just got an email from the CEO of the Leaf Candy Co. Dear Ross, Unfortunately, we do not have any old records. We restarted Leaf about 12 years ago. The original Leaf Brands was sold off to Hershey back in the mid-1990’s. Additionally, another company already has the Punch trademark.
