Description
Way before Hostess was bought out by Frito-Lay, there was no such thing as Doritos here in Canada. They were called Taquitos and they came in only 2 flavours...Zesty Cheese, in an orange bag (still exists as a Dorito flavour) but I can't remember what the second flavour was but it was awesome (it came in a brownish bag). I think it may be the Taco flavour mentioned in other postings.

LOL. I was just having a similar conversation about "Taquitos" (and thus had to Google it)... but my American and Australian colleagues have no idea. The Taco flavour was dope.

Yes it was Hostess Taquitos with the mouse on the bag. Problem is, todays zesty cheese doritos are nowhere near as cheesy and tasty. Problem is, orignal Taquitos used more real cheddar, hence, obviously replaced with artificial flavours. Sometimes I can close my eyes with Zety Cheese Doritos and pretend that they are in fact Tostitos, but Im just a dreamer. They will never exist again. Hostess Taquitos are destroyed my corporate takeover.
