Goody soda pop originated in Omaha, Nebraska, in 1922 by the Willow Springs Company. Plant was a liquor distillery shut down when Prohibition began in 1920. Goody ceased production by 1976, but is now making sort of a comeback. Pop bottles are marked by color rather than flavor of soda. Goody sold mainly in the Plains states, including Iowa, Kansas and Missouri.
