Description
fizzy tablets, pixy stix and candy cigarettes were all available in the 1960s (at least in San Francisco), so they were not unique to the 70s.

I was in 4th class when I first tasted the fizzy tab. They were called fizzies. They were in strip packing and tasted like coca cola. After few years a Pakistani version of fizzies was introduced but it didn't got popularity in children so it was the end of the fizzy tabs in Pakistan. It was in 1964-65.Since then I haven't heard about fizzies.
