Description
I cannot remember the product or company name, but I specifically remember chocolate peanut-butter. You could find it on the top shelf of the peanut-butter section back in the late 70s, like goobers (the peanut-butter and jelly in the same jar) was also on the top shelf. The Chocolate Peanut-butter came in a small (around 8-10oz.) plastic tub-like container that was "chocolate" brown in color. It was GOOOO-ooood.

I remember the flavored "Peanut Butters" as a kid. There was a Banana Flavored, a Chocolate Flavored, and Cinnamon! I FREAKIN' LOVED the Banana & Chocolate ones! OMG!! It was called KOOGLE. They were in small containers ONLY and those were around in 1971-1977 or along in there somewhere. I know it was not before I was 4 and not after I was 10 years old.

OMG! Some one else remembers Koogle peanut butter besides me and my younger sister! She loved the banana flavored and I loved the chocolate flavor! We ate it by the spoonfuls! I remember it roughly from 1975-1978.

Me Too!! I remembered the chocolate flavored peanut butter from my childhood but only got the empty eyed stare when I would mention it to my peers. Thanks for bringing clarity and a name to a fleeting childhood memory.

I loved Koogle!!! I used to eat on plain white bread. It was great! A few years ago Jif had flavored PB. The chocolate one was pretty close to the Chocolate Koogle.

Did this Koogle Chocolate flavored Peanut Butter come in a small jar with an Owl on the front of it? I live in Michigan in the 70's and we used to get a chocolate flavored peanut butter that was awesome. I can't remember the name of it, but I do remember it had an Owl on the label

Thank you so much for remembering the name! I have been telling my friends about this stuff for years, and everyone thinks I'm crazy. I used to eat the vanilla pb straight from the jar on Saturday mornings while watching cartoons LOL.

You can make a pretty good chocolate Koogle at home by mixing pre-made canned chocolate frosting with p-nut butter. i think the measurements are about half and half, or a little less frosting than p-nut butter. adjust to taste:) i LOOOOVED koogle!!!!!

I remember Koogle. I even remember the Ad on TV. A cartoon monster singing with a blond kid. they sang a song that went Koo Koo Koogley eyes, Koo Koo. undernieth the lid had cartoon eyes that would spin when you moved it with your finger. I was 5 at the time.

yes they did make it in the 70's but was taken off reason is unknown to me === i do agree they should bring it back it seems to me that EVERY TIME THEY HAVE SOMETHING GREAT OR GOOD THEY TAKE IT OFF THE MARKET and that stinks if you ask me

I loved the chocolate one so much. The very last time I saw it was actually in the year 2000. They only had the chocolate one, it was awesome. I wish they would bring it back. NO, it was NOTHING LIKE THAT NUTELLA CRAP. Nutella sucks.

I loved the chocolate one but wasnt there some cinnamon flavoring also in the chocolate. Something like the Mexican Hot Chocolate bars. It got me to love peanut butter sandwiches but lasted just such a short time.
