Description
General Mills made a blueberry flavor equivelant to Count Chaucula. It was called Boo-Berry. They also made Frankenberry. Also, Franco American made Roller Coasters which were wavy pasta and processed meatballs...YUM!

Boo Berry had a definite purple taste and it had little purplish marshmallow-like nuggets which my brother and I used to pick out and eat first. Yucky-good!

Believe it or not, Boo Berry cereal is still around in select grocery stores as of 2009. Used to eat it a lot as a kid. Next time I'm out shopping I outta look for a box.

Loved Boo-Berry. They still sell it at Wal-Mart.

I ate this once in awhile. I remember one of my favorite cereal box prizes was a Boo-Berry Glow in the dark sticker. At night, our bathroom was the darkest room in the house. So I'd hold my sticker under the lamp in the living room, and then run to the bathroom and close the door to watch it glow.

the cereals taste different now days. booberry cereal doesn't stay crispy and turns into a soggy mess that tastes like plastic. Same thing with Cap'n Crunch peanut butter cereal. Doesn't have that toasty peanut butter taste anymore, and quickly turns into a plastic- like mush when its in milk.. No thanks, I'll guess memories will stay memories....

General Mills introduced Boo Berry in 1972. Found a box from 1975 with free pack of Willy Wonka Wacky Wafers (six in pack) inside ad printed on front and back.
