Description
I remember Big Shot chocolate syrup by the Pet Milk co. Big Shot was on the market maybe around 1966-67 but it didn't last very long. Big Shot was recalled by the FDA due to people becoming Ill after consuming it and it was soon taken off of the market (if my memory serves me correctly). I myself and a few people in my neighborhood also became ill (with stomach problems) after using Big Shot. If i'm wrong maybe someone can correct me.

I'm 48...My Dad developed Big Shot at Pet in the mid 60s when I was a kid. Big Shot had a faulty spraying nozzle. The whole launch became a dud. Pet had a hard time giving away the thousands of cases. There are some funny stories about this product disaster. chuck@vanant.com
Big Shot was not a dud! if so why would I be searching right now on Ebay for a can on sale? Just kidding, it is a good childhood memory and I like to preserve some of them. Therefore I will continue searching for BIG SHOT!!!!
I remember using for many glasses of chocolate milk and it was good. I thought it was cool at the time
I have a can of big shot chocolate syrup in ment condition. I bought it at a yard sale a few years ago. I am not sure why I bought a can of syrup from 1963, I guess I thought the can was neat. It still has the syrup in it. Its for sell. just havent got around to posting on ebay. If intrested leave comment.
Here I thought I was the only one to remember this. I was very young and as i recall you added this to milk to make chocolate milk. The nozzle seemed very close to todays Ready Whip Cream nozzle.
I remember my mom having Big Shot in our refrigerator around 1967-68. I guess I bugged her to buy it. Once, I fell down and the point of a pencil I was carrying broke off in the palm of my hand. To pacify me, my dad made me a chocolate milk using Big Shot. I can still remember that, and the big face on the can. Man, to be 5-years-old again ...
I just dug up a can of Big Shot from an area of my land. I guess people used it as a dump site many, many years ago. I have found some really cool stuff there. This can is very rusty, but it was a neat find.
