I saved two of my dungary mini skirts I am the same size I just can't fit them. One was black with opening criss cross laces. I had a stripe offit with matching zipper shirt. Store is no longer around and mini skirts are not either.

I remember when miniskirts had been "out" for a while for much of the 70s and then punks/postpunks started wearing them again at the end of the 70s and early 80s and people made fun of them.

My wife was a mini-dress queen in the 70's & 80's.We lived in G'ville,Fla.Most of her dresses barely covered her skintight white panties when she was standing. On windy days she was always on display. She wore the highist platform shoes and the shortest dresses of anyone.Needless to say we had a lot of male frends that hung out with us.

I don't like micro-minis. I like the ones that come directly to the center of the thigh.

An early glimpse at mini-skirts courtesy of Archie comics. In a story from the summer of 1967, Betty and Veronica get ticked off when Archie and Reggie ignore their mini-skirts and fuss more over their own tailor-made suits. When the boys realize their mistake, they rush to the soda shop to make good...but the girls changed clothes (pants outfits). Outside, the girls tease the boys again. Archie and Reggie start fighting and ruin their suits. From here until 1972, mini-skirts were in, at least in comic books.
