OMG! I loved Luv-It jeans!! I had so many different pair. I wish now that I would have kept them. I can't remember all the ones I had. My favorite pair had lips and I think lipstick on the back pocket. I had some with rainbows and the ones with hearts. I had a pair with oranges, I wish I could remember more. Every time Read's department store got a new pair, my best friend I were begging our mom's for them. Just went searching for a pic but haven't found one yet. Thanks for making me smile thinking back on this!
I have been looking forever to see if I could find something about Luv-It jeans. I had several pair also and my best friend and I always planned which ones we were going to wear. My favorite outfit was red corduroy pants with skates on the pocket with a long sleeve shirt with red skates across the chest. This made me smile too.
OMG. I so want a pair of luv-its jeans again. I had two pairs, one with the lipstick on one pocket and lips on the other, the other with a couple in a VW bug and a movie screen. I would kill to have them back.
I loved the roller skate one! I thought I was the best skater...I wasn't! LOL I did get a pair but NOT the Luv-It with the skate on it. Oh well....
WOW! One of the original skinny jean brands! Does anyone remember the black shiny Olivia Newton John (Grease) Luv-Its? I so wanted the pair with the heart with a bite taken out of the corner, but I was too young :-(
I also had LUV-IT jeans in the 6th grade. I bet that they would be a big seller today. Maybe some Hanna Montana LUV ITS or something.
My FAVE Luv Its were the ones with the gymnasts on the pockets and the skate you could REALLY tie!I always wanted the ones with the white v-shaped fringe on them! Of course, I wanted those AWESOME "Grease" ones too! Luv Its and Dr. Scholl's slip-on clogs!!!! SWEET!
I loved my Luv it and Wiggles jeans!!! I remember the ones with the lipstick, frog and the skates!!! I have been looking for them on ebay, so far no luck. They were my favorite jeans in 1979, 80, & 81 during middle school.
I have been looking for these on ebay as well. I absolutely loved them. If anyone finds anything on them please email mary.ballard.bernstein@gmail.com. Many of the old brands appear to be coming back.
I 2 have been looking for a pair of saddle back and plain luv it jeans my favorits were my Brite Yellow w/ the saddle back and of course my plain pink ones i would love to have a pair once again thy ought to fabricate once again. PLEASE
