Description: The pants had to be so tight you had to lay down on the bed to zip them. I had a pair of banana yellow ones that were so tight. I would lay down and my sister would zip them with a pair of pliers. I was wearing them when my husband proposed.

Doesn't wearing extra-tight pants stop your bloodflow?

They don't stop your bloodflow if they were spandex. The shiny spandex disco pants are probably one of the sexiest clothes of all time! They were disco pants in the 70's and early 80's but I can remember seeing women wearing them in malls at the height of their popularity. They were quite flattering like the yoga pants are, highlighting your assets while the higher waist and material help hold you together, and comfortable to wear to boot. American Apparel has brought them back and I understand they're selling fairly well.

I hate high waisted pants, so never wore them.
