Description: Where I grew up on Long Island (NY) we wore "Baby clothes" that were teenage girl sized. They were made from terry cloth in light blue or pink with safety snaps and have baby patterns on them--lambs, ducks, etc. (just like you'd buy for a baby.) We would wear these shirts over jeans and wear a plastic baby rattle or baby keys looped onto our belt. We also wore diaper pins on the shirt. Friends of mine that grew up in other parts of the country don't remember this so I think it was a long island thing. Has anyone else ever mentioned this??

OH MY God!!! Finally someone else remembers these t shirts! I grew up on Manhattans West Side and we wore these too. I had one with baby blocks in pastel colors on it. The t shirt itself was a pastel blue. I also had one with black and red blocks with numbers on the blocks,on a white background. The bottom of the blouse had a frilly skirt around it. These t shirts didn't go past the waistline, because you had to show off the "accesories", rattles, baby pins, pacifiers and baby name chains. A great idea that took off and then died just as fast, right? Oh how I wish I could find these. Anybody know how to sew?

That is so CRAZY, because that’s is all my friends and I wear. We have like 50 of them all together. We love them, but no one else does. We wear them to school, and our principle said we looked ridiculous, and he was serious. But we still love them. Even though we look like really dumb. Haha. I’ll send you guys some if you want! Peace.

I would love one!! Please send me one, I would just die. Can you message me or something? I can give you my number and address and everything. I was born in the 90’s so I definitely don’t have any idea what you are talking about but I would just love one! I think it sounds so funny. I can’t believe you guys wore this stuff! But, I roam through a lot of these web sites and try to get some and wear them to my school, so I can bring back a trend. (: I can’t wait. Donna MESSAGE ME!!!

Lots of girls threw a side the Dear Chealsey Matthews, I don’t mean to be rude but I can’t give out my clothes to you.. well I kind of have this rule, that I don’t give out my clothes to people who actually haven’t lived in the year. I’m sorry, uhm maybe you could find a different web site? I’m sorry. This isn’t anything against you.

Does anybody have a photo they can post on here of these baby blouses? Or does anybody have any idea where they can be found or made? & Chealsey Matthews, if I find these,or someone who will make them, I'll help you get one. I'm sure you and your friends will love them! It would be great to re-charge this trend! Seriously, anybody got any ideas? I'm in New York City. Let me know. Thanks!!!
