I got this for my son for Christmas of 1977 or 78, when he was about two. It was fast, fun and easy toddler toy, very colorful and well made. This one was a keeper but we passed all our toys along. I do have a photo of it under the tree but it may be a while before I dig those photos out again.

Hasbro made the Zap Zap set under the Romper Room brand in 1980. The cars were delicate and broke apart easily (choking hazard). The pit stop stored the cars, and a battery-powered throttle controlled each car. Recommended age range was 3 to 8 years old.
