remember when yo yo's were the best thing! i guess before video games these were considered interactive toys.

There was one spring where the yo yo was really huge in my school. I don't know what caused it, but everybody had to have a yo-yo. You could get a plain Duncan yo-yo at the hardware store for about a buck, but they were hard to keep on the shelf. Of course I had one, but couldn't do much with it except make it "sleep" and the "around the world". Was envious of the fancy tricks my friends were able to do with theirs. Was big until school let out the one year (about 7th grade) then come fall they all but disappeared.
