I worked at Schaper Mfg in Medicine Lake MN when I was 16. They were just coming out with this, a big orange corvette. I was lucky enough to get a free one to test out at home. We spent much time yelling "VIC" over and over as we tried it out in the driveway. It would go straight forward, and curve when it was in reverse. I'm sure the neighbors hated it. I sold it at a garage sale about 30 years ago. Wish I still had it for my kids, but they probably wouldn't appreciate it. We had fun playing Pong on the black and white TV that year too. Shows you how much technology has advanced. It would have been slightly later than 1977, I worked there the summer of 1979.
