Chrissy's best friend, was a cute little blonde that I remember pulling her hair out of her head giving her hair a perfect style. Chrissy wore an orange dress, velvet wore a purple dress.

I had a Velvet doll and my sister had Crissy. I guess Velvet was Crissy's little sister or something. I loved making her hair longer and shorter.
I also had a Crissy doll and my little sister got Crissy's sister Velvet. I remember being jealous as I felt that Velvet was prettier with her blond hair and dark velvet dress- both dolls had the hair that could be pulled out longer and then retracted by a button on their belly..i think?
I still have my Velvet doll, altho she is just about 40 years old now. Her hair has been cut, I "drew" dot earrings on, I lost her shoes, but I still have her in that purple dress!
iam 44 years old and i had a velvet doll. i still have her in perfect condition with her purple dress and purple plastic shoes and her hair still goes long and short.
