Description
a round plastic disk between two strings. you pulled on the end of the strings back and forth to get the opee-op to spin. It would make a buzzing sound when it was really going fast.

I don't remember this, but I used to do the same thing with a large button and some twine. You would thread the string through two of the button holes and tie the ends so that it made a large loop. Then you'd put your middle fingers into each end and "wind it up" by twirl the button until the string bunched up. When you would pull the string it felt like a rubber band.
