Description
I went through several 3" reel-to-reel tape recorders. (Hey, they were toys to me!) Set up the microphone in front of the speaker of the TV set in the den and recorded "Peanuts" specials.

me and my brother had 2 tapes recorders-we would sing together on one and then while re-playing it we would sing to the recording while re-recording it on the 2nd tape recorder.kind of a cheap over dubbing effect. we thought we were going to be the next osmond family!we were stupid children with stupid dreams. our parents also had an old reel to reel which we would say swear words into and them listem to them and giggle-of course we would erase them but we felt thrilled to be doing something so naughty!

I would not leave radio's side all day long.I was positioning the tape recorder in front of radio just right and hoping to hit "record" at the begining of a song I liked. It never worked out that way, seems I always missed the begining.
