Description
I noticed your description of the suntanning dolls and can tell you that I own the original doll called : Suntan Tuesday Taylor. She wears a white bikini, has white platform shoes, a great orange, red and white cabana wrap, huge oval sunglasses and, yes, her hair can be blonde when she's well-tanned and brunette when she's not.

I too had a Tuesday Taylor doll, I remember putting her star sticker on her legs and laying her in my bedroom window to get a tan, I loved making her blonde and the braiding it to get the 2 toned affect. I think my dog chewed her up.
I had a Suntan Tuesday Taylor doll when i was young. It was my favorite doll i had. My parents divorced and I left my doll behind. I went on all kind of different sites looking for this doll and I found a few on ebay. Out of the 3 that I purchased only one is the Suntan Tuesday Taylor the other two are also the Tuesday Taylor doll but they don't tan. If you go online and look for the doll and specially ebay you might just find one... Good Luck and I hope you can buy one. I love mine... :)
I had a Tuesday Taylor doll....she was the "kid sister" to Tiffany Taylor. I loved the fact you could change her hair with one swivel!!
Yes-finally I found out her name! I too had the Tuesday Taylor suntan Barbie! Loved the blonde and brunette hair swivel! And used to always put her in the sun to go brown!! I want her back! (Lost her in the 70's somewhere!) This barbie may explain why I am blonde in summer and brunette in winter!!!
