I had this as a little kid in the early 70s. We were so poor that after my mom bought the toy she had no money for the batteries. I had to use my imagination. They are being sold again as retro toys and originals can still be found if you look.

The descriptio given is that of the Sizzler Juice Machine, which required four D-size batteries and "fueled" the tiny motor in each Sizzler car. The 1970 Sears Wishbook priced it at two dollars.
