Description
Plastic you colored with magic markers and put into the oven. The big plastcic pieces (cars, florwes...) would shrink down into think smaller pieces.

actually colored pencils were used to make shrinky dinks not magic markers the plastic sheets were roughened on one side so that pencils could mark on it.

Used to spend lazy Sunday afternoons making these, and like the first poster, I loved watching them shrink. I still have some of the ones I made. It was nice that us kids back then could get such pleasure out of these simple things.

YOU CAN BUY THEM AT MICHAELS ARTS AND CRAFTS STORES AGAIN!!! I still have some little tiny ear rings I made out of mine over 20 years ago.
