Pippa was a 6 inch fashion doll that fitted into your pocket. She was released by Palitoy in 1972 in the UK after Topper Corp's Dawn (US) went bust. Palitoy bought out the stock and some of the early Pippa carded outfits were old Dawn stock. Pippa, Tammy and Marie came out in 1972 followed by Britt in 1973. Other friends over the years (Pippa didn't last beyond 1980) were Mandy, Gail, Jasmine, Pete, Emma and you could send away for Rosemary (or a free fashion outfit) by collecting the petals from outfits and/or other accessories.
