Description
Foam balls that came in different colors. We used to play with them when we went swimming -- let them soak up water, then throw them at each other!

We also loved soaking them in water and nailing each other with them! LOL...man, those things could HURT!

I have one of these that I used to keep in the bathtub. I don't know where it is, now; I would love to throw it at sis this summer!

they were pretty durable for foam and must have wore out a hundred of these as a kid playing football. What a great toy.Only the nerf's had enough weight and quality to be able to throw a tight spiral even on a windy day.

An early TV commercial from 1970 featuring the Monkees minus Peter: Mail in twenty tops of regular Kool Aid packs, or ten of Pre-Sweetened Kool Aid, receive a free Nerf ball. From a Saturday morning rerun of the "Monkees" TV show on CBS, 9/19/70. Mike Nesmith left the group shortly after filming the commercial.
