my older sister bought me this game for christmas when I was about 10 it was a board game top that you rigged up a coarse made of plastic objects and if it was set up right the ball would make it to the end and set off the pole that brought down a plastic basket that would trap the mouse

Still have it is my basement. Found is a bit ago when I was cleaning out. I am 55 and I think it was my kid's - he is 25.

Ideal Toys introduced Mouse Trap, a three-dimensional game, late in 1963. From the Saturday morning cartoon vault: A TV commercial with an updated box design. This aired on "Cool McCool" over NBC (9/17/66), and on "Magilla Gorilla" over ABC (10/1/66).
