Description
you cranked the cows tail to make it drink water and when it was done it raised it's head and mooed...then you milked it...came with little white tablets to make the water white and a trough and milking bucket and also a bell. I recieved it around 1979 or so when I was 4 and I have seen it on Ebay

My daughter had one as a child and loved it. We have been trying to get one on e bay but they are priced out of our reach.

I received this for Christmas in 1979 and it was broken. Unfortunately there were none left in the store for exchange. Very upsetting for a 6 year old. I've been on the hunt for one all of my adult life. I can't wait to someday try it out.
I also had one as a child. now with three daughters of my own I showed them what it looked like, they thought it was kinda creepy. But what a wonderful memory. I wish I still had it.

This was my most favorite toy. I loved it. It was by far my most favorite gift I have ever gotten.

I was the boy that did the TV commercial that aired during saturday morning cartoons. It was cool getting to see myself on TV when I was little. Now it's even cooler to see it on Youtube.

I loved this cow sooooo much! I had it as a child and it was soo much fun and I remember it as totally magical! I can't believe there are other Milking Cow fans out there. Wonderful TOY!!

I had one but ruined it when I put chocolate milk in the drinking bin instead of water... hilarious!
We had a Milky the Bull. It only had one udder, and you had to fill his trough with scotch.
I have one I would sell still in the box and never opened. The box is "old" looking, but the original tape is still intact. I can't guarantee that it works, but it is absolutely brand new.
I honestly can't believe I had this toy!!! I wonder who bought it for me and why I thought it was fun!!!

I am looking for this cow, does not need to be in the box. I have never heard of it till tonight when my usually not so sentimental husband talked about how it was his fav toy when he was little at his grandmas house. My family gave my dad a Milky the Cow after he retired from farming but was still a leader in the Farm Bureau organization. It was a hit at meetings, that's for sure. There was just a new one in a never opened box on eBay! I bid on it, but it went for $150, so I did not win the auction. Keep checking ebay, though, as there are often some listed on there. There was also one that someone had painted brown and white - it looked like a Hereford cow. I can't understand why people on eBay keep referring to her as "he" though.

I loved Milky and still do. I remember when we got her for Christmas. It was the best toy, although sad when we ran out of milk tablets. I still have her, and took her to Agricultural College with me when I went to do my degree.
Not sure if she still works though. I'll have to dig her out and show my three children.
Wish they would bring her back: Kenner or whoever owns their patents/trademarks.

My house recently burned and it melted my Marvelous Milky. She still had her box and all of her accessories. She was one of my all time favorite toys. I grew up on a farm any got her before I was old enough to help much with the livestock. She has been on display in my kitchen my entire adult life. She will be missed.

I remember wanting this cow so badly when I was 9 years old I thought it was the coolest thing! But my father had lost his job and we were pretty poor, I remember being so disappointed when I didn't get her under the tree christmas morning.I am going to be 50 next September and I still think about that cow LOL.
Milky sold for nearly $12 if ordered from the 1977 JC Penney toy catalog.
