About Legos: The Lego blocks originally came from The Netherlands (Holland).. There's a park you can go to in Amsterdam (I think), where you can see little houses, people, trees, etc. , all made from hundreds of thousands of Lego Blocks. (^_^)

In 1978, Lego came out with a series of model kitscalled Expert Builders. No glue required. These were basically snap-together, but deep in detail. Some parts were interchangable, and allowed the builder to custom design and be quite creative! Detailed right down to the engine and rack & pinion steering. The four starter sets included a motor (AA battery powered). Prices ranged from $7.00 to $20 depending on set.
