The whole idea was to get the darts into the plastic circles. We were dumb enough to stand next to the circles as we took turns throwing the darts. Glass eye sales were way up in those years. LOL, just kiddin'

Weee loads of fun, can't tell you how much trouble my cousins and I used to have with these at family gatherings. Still, the parents kept bringing them back. I am speaking of the garden darts now. Metal-tipped ones still for sale here in the UK. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Garden-Darts-plastic-throwing-target/dp/B000B8FTRK

One of our favorites. I remember the Red and Yellow darts with the wings. I loved the sound as they went into the grass. The tip was pretty sharp, and they had some weight. Good times....

They always seemed to find their way into one of my friends above ground pool liner. His father was never happy to see or patch the end results. Memories

My friend and I got a little carried away playing jarts one afternoon...and somehow one became stuck in the side of my house...on the second floor. I remember struggling to get my dad's extension ladder out of the garage to get the jart pulled out before my parents came home from work....fun times!
