Description
This was a toy in which you put different plastic beads in separate bins, loaded it with plastic clips, turned the handle and PRESTO -- plastic jewlery. EVERY GIRL in my fourth grade class got a jewel magic for christmas. This would have been 1975/1976

I think I had both knit magic and jewel magic. the jewel magic had these silver bracket things, and you somehow load the beads and turn the crank and they would attach to the brackets. the beads were turquoise, white and red...

Jewel Magic was one of my favorite things! I have not been able to find one for sale. I also remember Knit Magic and Sew Magic. Very cool.

This was also one of my favorite toys! I wanted to be the blonde, pig-tailed girl on the box, too!! I would make, and remake necklaces, but especially liked to make big, chunky bracelets. I thought I was so cool! :)
