Description
Well, this is more of a sporting good than a game, but it was an awesome football that was rubber and an alternative to the Nerf football. I can't find one to save my life, or any information about it. It might be spelled Itza. Can you help?

I played with the ITSA football for about 6 years (1978-1984) when I was a kid. It was way better than a NERF ball. I would like to have another one, but I could never find out where to get them.

"You can kick it, you can throw it, you can catch it, before you know it. You're playin' sweet, sweet Itsa ball..."

I used to play with an Itsa football and it was the best. They were so durable in the snow and the dirt. We played everyday with ours for seven or eight years and then it got lost. I would like to find a few of them for my kids. If any one knows where to get these footballs please email me at chazdenny@q.com. Thank you !

Loved the itza ball. It was easier to grip than a nerf and had a more realistic bounce to it. Forgot about these things. Thanks!

I was in a "Slinky" commercial back in '72-'73. Shortly after that I did an Itsa-ball commercial with the same producer. The "Slinky" commercial made #10 on HG "Toys We Grew Up With". I never saw the Itsa-ball commercial on TV. Maybe it got swept up off the cutting room floor?
