Description
it was a jet plane on a long line like fishing line, you attatched one end about shoulder high, (say the back of a chair) and the other end went to the floor about 20-30 foot away with some kind of control panel and flight stick.then you took the plane to the top and controlled it coming in to land.something like that i am trying to find out more about it i was very young and can only just remember it.

That was "one" of my favorite toys. It was a pretty cool styrofoam aircraft carrier that you would attach the line to a door knob and then the ship itself. You would "launch" it up and try to land it on the deck of the ship. So Cool.

Yeah I had this. Been telling my kids about it, but couldn't remember the name. We attached the lines to the front door handle then ran the whole thing down the hallway. You used a joystick like a real plane pulling it back to make the jet take off. When it reached the door you turned the stick like a spoon( I think!) then pushed forwards to land. Very tricky to master but that was why I played it for ages. Wish I still had it!

I have been trying to find something on this toy for years! I had the original one that was the bi-plane and would grab the mail bag from the top of the barn and land. Im trying to find anything about either one!

had some die cast jets you glided down fishing line ya just tied one end to anything as long as ya had angle and it would just glide down it from a hook on top of the jet

I have also been looking for info on this Mine was the bi plane with mail bag. I made this myself from cardboard and my parents surprised me with the real toy as a gift.
