I loved my Darcy! I remember playing with her all the time. She was one of my favorites. Sure wish I would have kept her. If anyone has her please post her picture.

Darci (I believe she spells it with an "I") was gorgeous! I hated Barbies but LOVED my Darci. She was bigger (like the Bionic Woman doll), so she couldn't wear Barbie clothes anyway. But it didn't matter because Darci clothes were so much nicer. All her clothes were disco diva and very well-designed. My favorite was an apres-ski number. It had burgundy "satin" pants with a long hooded burgundy sweater. It included purple heart-shaped sunglasses and a purple "suede" belt with fringe and a goldplated mask on it. Every outfit included high-heeled platforms (this one had gold to match the mask) and there were also an armful of plastic bangles in coordinating colors. I remember when I got her for Christmas there was a booklet advertising a disco playset that was "coming soon." I never got it until a few years ago (thanks Ebay!) It's awesome! It has lite-brite pegs and a working spotlight. There is also a pinball machine and a platform to attach Darci so she can get her groove on. I still have my original doll - minus the mask belt (thanks to whichever one of my little "friends" swiped that).

I thought I was going crazy, it seemed that no one remembered the Darcy Dolls. I had all of them, Blond, Red Head, Asian and the African American. I wish I could get a hold of a picture of them so that my girls could see what I have been telling them about for years.!!! Thanks for the info.
