Dancerina+Dancerella are treasury toys. If you've got one, don't sell it. Keep it as a family object. Who knows, maybe your grandchildren will play with it someday! While I've been writing this, I've had my Dancerella doll on my lap this whole time. Such a beautiful doll!!!!!!!!!!! My mom had one when she was little. When I was small, she realized that she should have kept it. I've promised myself that I'll keep mine forever.

Christmas 1968 my father, a WV coal miner, suprised me with my beautiful Dancernia. I had ask for the doll but had little hope becasue we had a large family and my parents would buy one toy for several of us children to share. When I opened this gift I recall the joy I felt and I spent many, many hours playing with her and watching her twirl. Over the years I grew tired of my dancerina and she was probably sold in a yard sale. As I got older I held such precious memories of my doll, the joy I felt and the joy my father felt in giving me this doll. I have bid several times on ebay for a dancerina but today is my lucky day. My mother and I were shopping in an antique shop and laying on the floor in a box with other items was a dancerina. She is a little wore but considering her age she is in very good condition and still works. Years of hard work in the coal mines took my fathers life several years ago. Today brought back such precious memories of my father so pleased that he could make his little girl so happy on that Christmas morning.Holding her floods my mind with such love for my father.

Was not given one, I borrowed it from Nancy (who had ALL the neat toys!) Loved it dearly too!
