When I was a little girl, I shared a room with my three older sisters, who would boss me around quite a bit. One night, after watching a scary Vincent Price movie, I played a trick on my sisters with my Baby Love Light doll. After our parents made us put the lights out, I quietly lifted my doll up in the air, facing our bureau mirror, and squeezed her hands. Her green eyes reflected in the mirror and my sisters ran screaming from the bedroom. I'm now 43, and my 8 year old daughter loves when I tell her that story!
I received a Baby Love Light doll as a Christmas present in 1971. She was my all-time favorite doll. I had to throw her away in 1974 because her batteries had corroded and ruined the doll. I have recently been trying to locate one in good condition for sale, with little success.
