Cupcake like desert treat shaped like a Twinkie, with a frosting top and filled center. They were marketed with the Peanuts gang!

They used to be made by dolly madison. Now they are made by hostess.
Went to elementary school with a girl who brought the vanilla Zingers in her lunch EVERY DAY! She never got tired of them. They were pretty good.
They have changed. I bought a 3 pack of vanila Zingers and it was not the same as my youth. The frosting used to be a thick yellowish. The frosting now is whitish and the cake is not the same. Bummer.....
Raspberry Zingers!! OMG!! I loved these and still do!
