Description
Chewy and bursting with peanut butter taste, these chocolate covered bars were my brother's fave, especially the commercial when the Vikings ran onto the beach to find a treasure chest full of them, ripped into them and yelled, " VUNDERBAR!!"

Wunderbars originated in 1976, made by Cadbury in Toronto, Ontario. Still available today. Not unusual, a German expression becomes a product brand name. Another example was Fanta soda, originated during Germany's Nazi rule in World War 2. They used shuttered Coca Cola facilities (after America ceased trade with Germany) to make it until after the war.
