Not much of a story just I remember them, liked them and strangely I can’t find one picture of them on the web!

I remember them as a foil-paper flat pack about the size of a LifeSavers roll. The hard candy was much like LifeSavers but was a flat rectangle 'tablet' shape with a syrupy liquid fruit centre that would 'trickle' out if you bit into it. In 1971 my aunt once let me pick any one item from a gift store candy rack in a small town on westcoast of Canada and this new thing caught my eye and was the only time I remember having it. The packaging both in overall squared rectangle shape and coloured foil outer wrapper seemed advanced for it's time.
