Description
They were sold in a package like a roll of lifesavers. I used to love them because they were so convenient. My favorite is the orange and cherry.

I heard that these were discontinued because some kids choked to death on them. I this true or just an Urban Legend?

These were great! You could mix the flavors in your mouth. Just because some kid dies from not being careful, or because of an irresponsible parent, is no reason to punish the rest of us! But I bet he died with a smile on his chubby blue face! lol

They reintroduced these in February '08. You can only find them at online candy distributors.

I have found them at several conveniecne stores in the south(mostly Arkansas, Texas, and Louisiana). They are in a baggie now and have some different flavors. Still good, though.

Update on the Tootsie Pop Drops. I have now been finding them at the Dollar Tree stores. They can get them. If you go on-line to the store's site, you may be able to order them. I am fortunate because I can buy them here in Texas or when I visit my Mom in Arkansas. Good luck to you who are looking for them.

Our local Alco store carries them in a movie size candy box for $1.00. Love them!
