Description
Round corn cakes that about the size of a slice of bread. They were meant to be heated in a toaster. They were packaged much the same way as Thomas' English Muffins. They were great for breakfast with margarine.

They also came in blueberry and I believe, banana-walnut.

These were great with melted butter spread on them. They were like a good sweet cornbread flavor---we used to call them "corn toasties" at our house.

I forgot about these! My mom would buy them every once in awhile--I'd have to pester her a lot. I first tried them at a neighbor's house and loved them.

Awreys Bakery makes these in blueberry and cornbread flavors. Kroger sells them in the bakery section.

Just went to the grocery store for chocolate chip cookies, saw these in the bakery in blueberry and had a flashback. Couldn't pin point it, but recall them being comfort food and with melted butter. Bought them, ate it and recalled grandmas at single digit age in the 70s. Googled and confirmed with these posts. What fun!
